2. Payments
Payments made through Feri are processed by Stripe, our third-party payment processor.
Feri Group Ltd does not collect or store customers’ full card numbers, card security codes (CVV/CVC) or other card credentials. Customers’ payment credentials are handled by Stripe.
Stripe may collect and process payment and transaction information in accordance with its own privacy practices.
Feri retains transaction information reasonably necessary to operate and administer the service, such as payment amount, payment status, payment method, payment date and information connecting the payment with the relevant food order or taxi booking.
We may use this information for accounting, refunds, customer support, dispute resolution, fraud prevention and compliance with legal obligations.

Feri does not sell customers’ personal information.
4. Our Lawful Bases
Under UK data protection law, we must have a lawful basis for processing personal information.
Depending on the circumstances, we may rely on:
Contract — where processing is necessary to provide a service you have requested, such as creating and managing your account, food order, taxi booking or associated transaction.
Legitimate interests — where necessary to operate and secure Feri, provide customer support, prevent fraud, resolve disputes and improve our services, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.
Legal obligation — where processing is necessary to comply with applicable legal, financial, accounting, tax or regulatory requirements.
Consent — where we specifically request consent and consent is the appropriate lawful basis. Where applicable, you may withdraw your consent.
5. Restaurants and Taxi Operators
Feri operates as a marketplace through which customers can access services provided by participating businesses.
When you place a food order, relevant information is made available to the restaurant fulfilling your order. This may include the items ordered, quantities, item notes or instructions and other information necessary to manage and fulfil the order.
When you request a taxi, relevant booking information is made available to participating taxi operators as necessary to consider, accept and fulfil the booking. This may include pickup and destination information and other relevant journey details.
We only share information reasonably necessary to operate, fulfil or support the relevant service.
6. Mapping and Location Services
Feri uses mapping technology to support taxi-booking functionality, including calculating routes, distances and fares.
Pickup and destination information may therefore be processed through third-party mapping services where necessary to calculate or provide the requested journey.
7. Push Notifications
Feri may send push notifications relating to food orders, taxi bookings and other relevant account or service activity.
You can control whether Feri is permitted to send push notifications through your device settings.
8. Service Providers and Other Recipients
We use third-party service providers to help operate Feri. These may include providers of:
- app and database infrastructure;
- payment processing;
- mapping and location services;
- website hosting;
- email and communications;
- security; and
- other technical services.
These providers may process personal information where necessary to provide their services to us.
We may also disclose information where required by applicable law, regulation, court order or a valid request from an authorised public authority.
9. International Data Transfers
Some technology providers used by Feri may process personal information outside the United Kingdom.
Where personal information is transferred internationally, we take appropriate steps to ensure that the transfer is permitted under applicable UK data protection law and that appropriate safeguards are used where required.
10. How Long We Keep Information
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and for legitimate operational, legal, financial, accounting, fraud-prevention and dispute-resolution requirements.
Different categories of information may therefore be retained for different periods.
Where a fixed retention period is not appropriate, we consider factors including why the information is required, whether an account remains active, whether a transaction, refund or dispute remains outstanding and whether we have a legal or regulatory requirement to retain it.
Deleting your Feri account does not require us to erase information that we are legally permitted or required to retain.
11. Account Deletion
You can permanently delete your Feri account from within the Feri app by opening Help and selecting Delete Account.
Account deletion cannot be undone.
When an account is deleted, personal information associated with the account will be deleted or anonymised where appropriate, except where information must or may lawfully be retained for purposes such as accounting, legal compliance, fraud prevention, refunds or dispute resolution.
If you have questions regarding deletion of your information, contact hello@ferigroupltd.com.

- object to certain processing;

- withdraw consent where our processing relies upon consent.
These rights are subject to applicable law and may not apply in every circumstance.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss or misuse.
However, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.
14. Website and Cookies
The Feri website may use cookies or similar technologies necessary for its operation.
Where non-essential cookies or similar technologies are used and consent is required by law, appropriate consent will be requested.
You can also manage cookies through your browser settings.
15. Providing Your Information
Certain information is required for us to provide Feri’s services.
For example, we require relevant account and booking or order information to create an account or arrange a requested service.
If you do not provide information necessary to perform that service, we may be unable to provide the relevant functionality.
16. Automated Decision-Making
Feri does not currently use solely automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on customers.
17. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy where our services, business practices or legal obligations change.
The latest version will be made available through the Feri website and the Last updated date at the top of this policy will be updated accordingly.
